I've been going at least twice a week for the past two months. Today for lunch, I inhaled the hire katsu and rosu katsu. Usually I go for lunch, but I've also taken my kids for dinner to try the hire katsu, rosu katsu, cheese katsu, hot udon, and soba. There were many menu items, but everything was delicious without any complaints. The hire katsu has an impressive tenderness unique to tenderloin. It feels like it dissolves as soon as you put it in your mouth, disappearing almost without needing to chew. With the rosu katsu, you can fully enjoy the juices of the meat and the richness from the fat. The style of adding a drop of truffle oil is also fun. It was nice to eat the cheese katsu as well, as each dish had a different charm. The soba had a very rich katsuobushi aroma and good acidity. I ordered the hot udon for the kids, and the broth was really impressive. The way they added charred green onions to enhance the flavor and aroma was also great. Both the food and service were satisfactory, and it was easy to visit with kids. I think it's a good place to go for either lunch or dinner. The staff's response is also quite good. There is a notice right at the entrance, so they check the number of people and assign seats. Disappointing points 1. There was enough explanation about the ingredients, but there was almost no explanation about the pork itself, the main ingredient, only about the doneness. It would have been more fun to eat if they had introduced the type of pork used or the characteristics of the cut. 2. There is too much water on the salad that comes with the tonkatsu. I wish they would shake off the water better. 3. The Chinese-made kkakdugi tastes good, but it's a blemish that lowers the quality of the other menu items.
