Through the dedicated stewardship of the late Anne-Claude Leflaive (안 클로드 르플레브), who was known as the 'Queen of White Burgundy,' it rose to the ranks of the world's leading white wine producers.

History

• Origins of the Family: The family's winemaking history began in 1717, when Claude Leflaive (클로드 르플레브) settled in Puligny-Montrachet (퓔리니 몽라셰).

• Foundations of the Domaine: In the early 20th century, Joseph Leflaive (조제프 르플레브) actively acquired vineyards that had been neglected following the phylloxera crisis and expanded the domaine, laying its modern foundations.

• Transition to Biodynamics: After Anne-Claude Leflaive (안 클로드 르플레브) took over management in 1990, she introduced biodynamic viticulture on an experimental basis to restore the soil. In 1997, all vineyards were fully converted to 100% biodynamic cultivation, bringing about a transformation in quality.
