They were even Michelin Bib Gourmand recipients until 2022. Also, you are welcomed by Lim Young-woong when you enter. Well, on the wall, that is. I'm not sure if the owner is a huge fan, but the walls were practically wallpapered with his pictures. Anyway, I ordered the assorted set with Jjukkumi and scallops, along with Jjukkumi fried rice. It was my first time grilling Jjukkumi over charcoal, and thanks to that, the smoky flavor was very distinct and delicious. The seasoning was tasty too. I think this was the best Jjukkumi I've ever had. The scallops, which I thought would only play a supporting role, were also quite impressive. Both ingredients seemed to be in excellent condition, and when combined with the good seasoning and charcoal, they were incredibly easy to eat. Since the seasoning was so good, the Jjukkumi fried rice was naturally excellent as well. This place is known to have some service issues. I went right when they opened, so they were very friendly at first, but as it got crowded, they acted so busy that it felt a bit overwhelming. I think this is probably why there are complaints about the service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone sensitive to such things. Well, regardless, I really liked the Jjukkumi here, so I think I'll be thinking about this place every time Jjukkumi season comes around.
