I took a taxi there, and the driver told me that when the chicken street was first formed, Jinmi was the first to open. He said Jinmi Tongdak (Jinmi Chicken) started the '3 great chicken' thing and others followed, which made me a bit excited. I wanted to try both the classic fried and seasoned chicken, so I ordered half-and-half. There are 2 extra sauces at the self-service bar. They are spicy keyonnaise and yopi sauce. Keyonnaise is just ketchup + mayonnaise, and yopi sauce is basically a sauce with an Indian spice scent (curry flavor). As for the taste, the first bite was crispy without being hard, which was nice. But as I kept eating, it got a bit hard and felt repetitive. I didn't want to waste the wait time, so I tried to eat more, but I just couldn't because it felt so heavy. My companion said another place among the 3 great chicken spots tastes better. Among the 3 great chicken spots, this one has a cleaner vibe. They recently did a collaboration with Ottogi, so the interior looks colorful and neat. That's why there were many tables with parents and children. Contrary to the atmosphere, the floor was very dirty. It probably wasn't like that from the start, but it seems like they don't have time to clean the floor because they're so busy. There were lots of snack crumbs and bits of tissue left from before. The taxi driver said that over the years, the recipe and vibe must have changed a lot, and the old-school vibe is completely gone; it feels like a local chicken place collaborating with a large corporation. They have a chicken collaboration with Ottogi Jin Jjamppong until the end of this year, so I recommend visiting if you're curious.
