(It turns out it was featured on Pungja's 'Ttogan-jip'.) Even though it was a bit past lunch hour, the place was packed with customers. The group right behind us barely made it as they got turned away due to sold-out ingredients... I ordered the Jeongseong Kalguksu and the potato pancake. Uniquely, the noodle color is green. After the first bite, the noodles were really chewy, and the broth tasted similar to a well-boiled chicken soup, with the seasoning just right. Also, the kimchi was slightly spicy, and the green onion kimchi was perfectly fermented, making it a great combo with the noodles. After eating for a bit, I added some spicy seasoning (dadaegi) to give it a kick. The potato pancake was also fried well, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, making for a generally delicious and satisfying lunch. Other tables were eating the boiled pork slices (suyuk), so I'll have to try that next time.
