Then I heard he made a flashy comeback on the first floor of Hotel Chicory, so I quickly visited during the soft opening. It has that hip vibe you'd expect from Hotel Chicory, and the bright lighting makes the atmosphere great. It looks like they put a lot of care into the tableware and decor too. The perilla oil pasta that came out first was delicious at the first bite, but it felt a bit cloying. The onion pasta I had been waiting for was, as expected, really delicious. The truffle pasta I ordered on a friend's recommendation had generous truffle portions, just like in the video, and it paired so well with the noodles. But maybe it was a menu choice issue; having only similar noodles made it feel a bit heavy? Chef Do Woong-hee's pasta is still delicious, but it would have been nice if they had informed me about those things in advance when ordering. Don't order like I did, guys. Then you'll have an even more satisfying meal.
