I thought, "A master's restaurant in Chinatown? I'm already in Incheon, I can't pass this up," so I came here. Unfortunately, I was alone so I couldn't order the course menu, so I ordered the dandanmen listed as a "signature dish" on the menu and the menbosha from the special recommendation menu. First off, the menbosha was a huge disappointment. I know menbosha is a dish where the bread can easily get soaked in oil, but there should be a limit. After eating one, I couldn't eat any more because of the "too much" oil. It wasn't bread, just oil, oil. Still, the dandanmen was good. It definitely felt different from the Chinese-Japanese style tantanmen I usually have, but the sauce was excellent and the noodles were soft yet springy, which was nice. The bean sprouts piled high on top were also stir-fried well. This dandanmen was quite impressive, so I can't give it a low score. While the dishes were quite disappointing, the main meals seem definitely decent. I think if I had just ordered a main meal and left, my satisfaction would have been quite high.
