The signature dish here, Kalnaksae, features plump octopus and shrimp, combined with chewy kalguksu noodles, all coated in an addictive, spicy sauce. The mild spicy level is comparable to Shin Ramyun. One of my companions usually can't handle spicy food, but they enjoyed it despite the heat. It's because the sauce isn't overly irritating but perfectly spicy, soaking deep into every ingredient, making it hard to stop eating. The potato pancakes we ordered along with it had a unique visual, made with thin layers of potatoes; the outside was crispy while the inside was chewy, boasting a distinct and charming texture. Pairing a bite of spicy Kalnaksae with a piece of chewy potato pancake, the combination was truly excellent. The dumplings were just average. I don't think I'll need to order them next time. Because of the combo of the addictive spicy Kalnaksae sauce and the chewy potato pancakes, I think I'll be craving it again soon.
