It had been on my list of places to try for a while because of its dough shape, which is similar to Zootopia (주토피아), so I arrived with high expectations. I ordered the Margherita, which you could call a staple, and the spicy Diavola. Since it was nearly full that day, it took about 15 minutes for the first pizza to arrive. One downside was that the Diavola came out before the Margherita; after having something spicy, the Margherita felt a bit oily. Other than that, it was a very well-made pizza with nothing to complain about. With a dough shape similar to Zootopia, the soft yet chewy texture is charming. Because the crust is large compared to the section with toppings, it's hard to eat by hand, so it’s easier to cut the slice in half, roll it up, and eat it with a fork. The portion size allows for one pizza per adult, and men with a bigger appetite could even manage two. A disappointing point is that the wine list is sparse, and for beer, they only have Peroni draft and one type of bottled beer; personally, I’m not sure if Italian beer pairs well with pizza, so this part might be a hit or miss depending on your preference. If it’s hard to get a reservation at Zootopia, Pizzeria Laurola is a decent pizza place that can serve as a great alternative, and I’m definitely willing to visit again since there are a variety of pizza menu options.

Two of us ate three pizzas—the 6-Cheese, Diavola, and Laurola—and it didn't feel like too much. The 6-Cheese had a great balance, with the flavor and aroma of the cheese standing out while working well with the dough; it wasn't too salty or greasy. As for the Diavola, the spicy kick perfectly covered up the potential greasiness of the pizza, and the taste itself was excellent. Since I ordered the Laurola after the Diavola, it could have been heavy or greasy, but the deep, meaty flavor of the salsiccia sausage balanced it out perfectly. It was a satisfying visit, just like the last one, and I'd recommend this place to anyone in Daegu who likes wood-fired pizza.
