There is a restaurant in Seoul with the same name and menu, but I am not sure if it is a branch or what the relationship is. Unlike Gyeongsang-do style dwaeji-gukbap (pork and rice soup) which has a pungent and rich pork bone flavor, the soup here is clean and mixed with a spicy seasoning paste. Apparently, this style is Seoul-style sundae-guk. The meat and offal were boiled well with no gaminess, and the sundae was solid. For 11,000 won, even the regular portion comes with a generous amount of ingredients. Add a spoonful of perilla seed powder and mix in the rice—game over. I wasn't even drinking, but I finished the whole bowl feeling like I was curing a hangover. They have dishes like osori-gamtu (stomach garnish) as well as gukbap, so it would be great for having a simple drink in the evening.
