As someone who eats burgers often, I visited to try the pimento menu that I hadn't had anywhere else. I ordered the pimento cheese burger set (soda + medium fries). The pimento cheese burger has a much richer meaty flavor than I expected. Sometimes I'm disappointed if there's not much meatiness, but unlike the super simple interior design, the taste of the burger is aggressive, which I really like. I wondered what pimento was, but upon tasting it, a familiar flavor comes along. Two things clearly came to mind that have a similar taste: the pizza hoppang (steamed bun) released by Samlip when I was young, and the pizza cheese cutlet sold at old-school western-style restaurants. After searching, I found out that pimento is a style where peppers and other vegetables are chopped and mixed into cheese, so it's no wonder it tastes similar since those two menus have the same composition. Anyway, the rich-flavored patty and the pimento go together better than I thought, and the bun is well-buttered and has a fluffy texture, which is quite nice. The fries were unexpectedly a bit of a flaw. It doesn't seem like they're homemade, and they look like frozen fries that were deep-fried. There's nothing special about them, the texture is a bit hard on the outside, and it tastes exactly like when you fry mass-produced fries at home without thawing them enough. It seems like it would be better to order items a la carte with a drink rather than a set here. Looking only at the burger, it's a taste worth traveling for within Seoul. There are almost no places that sell pimento burgers, so the menu has a clear differentiation.
