Breaking the yolk and mixing it into the yukhoe really brought out the richness, and the texture was so tender that I kept reaching for more. The beef sashimi was clean-tasting, and the meat’s flavor became more pronounced the more I chewed, giving it a different appeal from the yukhoe. The live octopus tasted even richer with sesame oil, and its chewy texture was really good. Having some warm soup in between made it a perfect combination. It was a fun spread, alternating between the yukhoe, beef sashimi, and live octopus. There was plenty of variety, so the meal stayed satisfying to the end.
쿠베라(88 reviews)Lunch・Visited 2026/07(1 visits)3.002Should've ordered the yukhoe tangtangiJinju Yukhoe (진주육회) is always mentioned as one of Gwangjang Market's top spots for yukhoe. I only found out after eating that it's especially famous for yukhoe tangtangi. Unfortunately, I didn't know that when I visited, so I ordered the yukhoe and beef sashimi. The yukhoe was quite pale in color and leaned heavily sweet. I'm not a big fan of sweet yukhoe seasoning, so it didn't suit my taste. Still, that's a matter of personal preference, and some people may actually like it.
