A burger with a unique appeal
I went to Misfits (미스피츠) near Sadang Station to try a burger with a different kind of appeal. As soon as you walk in, the space is filled with a distinctive aroma unlike what you’d find at a typical craft burger joint. It’s the smoky aroma that defines this place, and even the serving process engages both your eyes and nose while you wait. The most striking part is the creamy sauce spread thick over the patty like a blanket. Its slight kick brings a fresh dimension to a patty that might otherwise taste ordinary. The fries on the side are tasty too. They’re evenly coated in seasoning, so they’re salty and crisp enough on their own without any ketchup. Grabbing a few between bites of the burger keeps things interesting. If you’re tired of predictable, standardized American-style burgers, this is a solid alternative. The original smoked concept paired with the distinctive sauce clearly establishes Misfits’ own identity.
