A Blue Ribbon café with great vibes
Around Nambu Bus Terminal Station and the Gyodae intersection, this might be the café with the best atmosphere. On my first visit, I saw that it had received a Blue Ribbon every year, so I went in with high expectations for the coffee. As always, I had a latte, and the coffee was a little disappointing. I went back for coffee several times after that, but it never quite met my expectations. The café itself has a wonderful atmosphere. It's always packed and bustling at lunchtime, and the outdoor terrace seating is great when the weather's nice. When I returned after a long time, I tried something different instead of the latte that had disappointed me. Their signature drink, the “Bellman Coffee (벨맨커피),” is apparently coffee mixed with lemonade. Nutty coffee meets tart lemonade. The taste is somehow familiar. A little like McCol, and a little like a Cokepresso. Apparently not for me... If you're looking for a café with a nice atmosphere near Nambu Bus Terminal Station, where good cafés are scarce, I'd recommend it.
